Ash Gray's debut solo album is a blend of folk, country and rock. Fresh out of Ash Gray And The Girls, Gray brings in a range of influences. The album has traces of Tom Petty to Graham Parsons and makes for a beautifully balanced listen. For this one, Gray used musicians from his New York band combined with some Austin musician buddies recording the tracks at Dale Watson's Ameripolitan Studios in Austin with Cris Burns behind the engineering wheel. A great introduction to eclectic writing of Ash Gray with beautiful Digipack artwork by Dave Litman.
